FiniteMap is one of my latest graphics programs to support F-E modeling of lithosphere deformation. It will eventually replace OrbMapAI, Plates2AI, and Faults2AI with a single program that offers more choices of map contents and map projection, as well as including (optional) bitmap-based color images. To read more about FiniteMap, go to the tutorial section of my website: http://peterbird.name/guide/graphics/introduction.htm Unfortunately, FiniteMap is not finished. At present, it only works with SHELLS F-E models and the new PB2002 global plate model, but not with flat-Earth F-E models computed by PLATES, FAULTS, or LARAMY. (If you try to plot such models, the program will just stop.) Because the source code is not finished, please don't get upset when it crashes! Try plotting the data another way (e.g., bitmap instead of polygon format for mosaics). Try shifting the map projection parameters very slightly to avoid a singularity. The compiled versions given here are for Windows: FiniteMap-Win32seq.exe (for 32-bit Windows) FiniteMap-Win64seq.exe (for 64-bit Windows) If you want to recompile the program for use with other O/S's, you will need other Fortran90 modules which you can find in folder MapTools.
